A came across a really great blog today, called 43folders.
While cruising around reading the articles, I came across one about what I will call, the art of photography. Every photoblogger out there needs to read this article and make sure they carry their camera.

Thanks for sharing that link. It is precisely the thinking espoused in that blog entry to which I came not long ago. The best photographic moment in my life came when I realized that pictures of my pets looked a lot better when taken from floor level than from standing up.
Good find. I haven’t been to Merlin’s site in a while. He use to appear regularly on Leo Laporte’s http://thisweekintech.com/ podcast show.
It tangentially reminds me of something the photographer Gerd Ludwig said about taking advantage of your photographic opportunities. “The most expensive photograph is the one you don’t take.”
Great photo thoughts by Merlin. Unfortunately, in my view, the article was diminished by the unnecessary cursing (the f-word and the gd-word). If Merlin wants to talk or write that way, it’s his choice, of course. But I’ll bet I’m not the only one who finds his crudeness offensive and distasteful. Somebody give the very talented man a bar of soap — and a basic lesson in civility!
Thanks, some interesting points there.
It is nice to know that other people end up going through the same things as I am.
Good link
